On Monday, I accidentally scored this amazing little white dress. I was not looking for something in particular, but with a heat wave coming up, I figured I’d browse for something nice, light and breezy. Not that I was short on dresses, but I will always use an excuse to buy a new dress. 🙂 I would normally pic a pencil dress as my go to shape, but I found this A-line dress which I really liked so I figured to be adventures and try it on.
I instantly loved it! The light cotton makes it very comfy to wear on hot days. The A-line and light fabric with mesh pattern give the dress a sporty chic feel, and with Wimbledon going on, I guess it would be a great piece to wear when going to watch a tennis match. The high neckline keeps it classy, and makes that it does not show of too much skin.
You can endlessly pair it with a pair of colourful heels or classy sandals. When worn with a jacket, I’d even wear it to the office, although ideally, it would have been an inch longer for that. Generally, for a summer dress, the length is pretty good though, even on my 6’2 frame! All in all a very versatile dress that will compliment my wardrobe on warm sunny days! I am a Happy Tall Girl!
I bought the dress at a Dutch shop called Steps (who have nothing to do with the British pop group btw… 🙂 ), who unfortunately only deliver in The Netherlands, but I will give you the link here anyway.
