August came and went quickly and meant going back to the office after 2 months of working a bit less and vacationing a lot in both Italy and England. Obviously, I had a great time doing this, don’t get me wrong, but it’s also nice to get back to work where an exciting time is ahead (and where I get to wear my office dresses again!).
August had a few highlights that I look back at with excitement, and I’m sharing them here:
I had a very insightful interview with the lovely Kaersten Cooper of Marge Clothing.
I loved sorting out all the food pictures that I took at Borough Market in London.
I’m getting hungry just reading that post.
We celebrated a lovely family weekend in Cumbria including a dinner at L’enclume, which immediately went to the top of my favourite restaurant list!
I posted my first outfit from a Tall Shop
While writing my post on travelling alone I went through all of my New Zealand pics which was so much fun and brought back so many good memories. This one below was taken on day 5 of a 6-day horse trekking on the South Island, hence the tired eyes. 🙂
I had a lovely boat trip with my dad, making me realise how gorgeous my country is, so I did some shameless promotion for the Netherlands here. 🙂
So yes, despite being back to everyday life, August was pretty awesome!
I am excited about September when I will start putting together autumn outfits, when mussel season starts again (Yum!) and when I will be posting about Germany and Moscow among other things. Exciting times ahead!
