Looking back at March

The first trimester of the year is over already! Spring has officially started and we are back at daylight saving time in NL which means it gets darker an hour later and I love when it’s still light when I get back from work. Now all I need is for the temperature to go up a few degrees so I can finally change my winter wardrobe for my summer one. But before changing over wardrobes, I just want look back at March real quick.

March was exciting as it brought me to a new destination I had never been to before and I love that! Nairobi, Kenya surprised me and albeit it was only a mere 48h I was there, I had a great time! I found a dream location for future trips and I managed to stripe another thing of my bucket list when I saw giraffes in the wild at Nairobi National Park.

When back in NL, I tried to get to the gym a bit more, and I had been wanting to write about tall work out gear for a while, so I was happy when I was able to share my finds with you here. I found even more tall work out tights at the Björn Borg Exclusive Shopping event where I went to earlier this week, which was fun! It’s a nice, affordable brand from Sweden, which means it’s likely to be decent, good quality clothing.

Half way through March, the Hobbit and I took a train together to Berlin for a weekend away, exploring together, what we love to do most! Though not the most upbeat city (in my opinion anyway), it sure is impressive with a lot of history! Plus, it provides a great backdrop for pictures for a fashion post too.

I was honoured when I was asked to be featured as a MARGE woman by MARGE clothing. As you know, I love MARGE, and I’m very excited about their new collection!

In between work, travel and spending time with the man, I also love spend time with friends, so I was happy when one of my closest friends joined me for an afternoon at a lovely Food Fair. We all need some girl time every now and then!

In April, I have a few exciting things coming up; I’ll be discovering more of China, and I’m taking a week off for a holiday to one of our beautiful Dutch Islands up North, which I can’t wait to share with you! Happy Spring!
