A year ago, I was looking for the perfect maxi-dress for summer. Although I found one I like, I’m afraid it has got serious competition now I have tried on the Jorgine dress from the current Resort Collection by MARGE Clothing.
The Jorgine dress is a lovely piece to add to your summer wardrobe for those lovely days strolling through small towns on an Italian lake that can only end with a glass of bubbles and some bruschetta while watching the sun go down.
If you have no such thing planned, it’s also lovely for other sunny occasions.
Jorgine proofs to be a versatile piece: it’s a lightweight (and thus, easy to pack) dress, perfect for city trips, but if you pair it with heels (like these) it also makes for a lovely evening outfit for dinner with your significant other.
The dress is really snug and comfortable to wear. It’s beautifully lined, and I love the cut of the top. It shows just enough skin to make it exciting without showing too much.
The length of the dress is amazing. Ideally, I should even wear heels with it, but I love the summery feel of slippers. The split is located just at that spot where you can show off a bit of leg if you want to!
The pockets are a lovely detail and they give the dress an air of nonchalance.
The dress is very breezy and effortless to wear with graceful lace detailing.
Because I’m wearing a chunky necklace, I’ve kept the rest of my jewellery quite minimalistic. This dress doesn’t need a lot of distraction. It’s an eye-catcher itself.
The minute you put on this dress, your mindset will change to summer, sunshine and happy thoughts. The lighthearted palm print will take care of that for you.
If you’re looking for a tall maxi dress for this summer, look no further: Jorgine ticks all the boxes!
