Dots in Dorchester

Being in a car together, always makes for lots of fun conversations between me and the man. Don’t know why, but we tend to get quite chatty when we’re driving so I always enjoy road tripping together. During our holiday in the UK, we took a few road trips, some without a real plan, so we ended up in unexpected places like the quaint village of Dorchester-on-Thames in Oxfordshire (not the one in Dorset). Think chocolate box cottages, thatched roofs, flowers, friendly people and overgrown hidden paths. I can see myself living in Lavender Cottage, watering plants, wearing a dotted dress…

Oh wait… I happened to have purchased this lovely summer flare dress from Long Tall Sally the week before.

Perfect for summer strolls, easy to wear, very light and breezy and I like the A-line.
It would perfectly suit cottage life, I say.

The charming village of Dorchester isn’t very big at all, but it’s ridiculously instagramable…

Its just over a thousand inhabitants must be quite proud of their lovely little village, so if you’re ever passing through, it’s worth a stop!
