Pencil Skirt: Two More Ways

It’s hard to have missed my pink pencil skirt, as I’ve been all over it like honey on a hot cookie lately. I’ve told you more about Tubino in my previous post and showed you how I style the skirt with my black and white striped top and with the MARGE Anni blouse. That’s how I’d wear the skirt to work; in this post I want to show you two ways to style it a bit more playful, for a night out for instance, to emphasise how versatile the skirt AND the color is. For that reason alone, it’s worth every penny. Come and have a look!

Look 1: Colours!
I’ve bought this colorful jumper with gorgeous details last year. It’s from Australian brand Kookaï, and it fits my tall frame nicely.

Obviously, it’s easy to cheat with sleeves this length. I fell for the color really, and my experiment to pair blue with pink worked rather well (if I may say so myself… 😉 )

Even the yellow bracelet looks great with it. It makes for a very vibrant combo.

Look at the lace detail in the top… I love it.

Look 2: Informal with a t-shirt

A statement piece like this skirt doesn’t need much, as it’s such an eye catcher.

Even if you pair it with a rather simple tee like this white cotton one, it looks a bit more informal, but still quite dressy.

Now you’ve seen four ways I style this skirt; I find it really hard to choose which one is my favorite as I love all four looks, so I’m curious to hear which look you like most! Here are all 4 looks so you can compare.

Who knew bright pink could be so versatile. I’ve loved seeing all the ways you’ve style this skirt. Also, it inspired me to pair my bright pink tee with a new thrifted skirt that I’ve been having difficulty styling. Yay!
