Nothing beats a refreshing autumn walk; the crisp air, the pretty colors, the feeling of wanting to hide away in your outfit. For me, it doesn’t get much better than that, in particular when you’re wearing a comfi knit that’s either a very chunky cardi or a loose coat to curl up in. This Winser London Cashmere Blend Chunky Coat is one of the cosiest knits I’ve worn in a while. Whoever says you can’t wear white anymore once the letter ‘r’ appears in the name of the month (or at least that’s what ‘they’ say in NL) is wrong!
Autumn always brings back good childhood memories; breathing in the earthy, damp smell of falling leaves. Hours and hours of playing outside with our dog, throwing chestnuts and acorns into a pile of leaves and let the dog go find them.
The hopeful look on his face when he ran after it, rummaging through the leaves, was priceless; he’d always look so proud when he had found it, and joyfully wagged his tail. But I’m drifting off: we were talking winter whites, not childhood memories…
It’s just so easy to dream away when you feel like you’re wrapped in a lovely warm blanket, and that’s exactly how this comfi cardicoat (or coatigan?) makes you feel. I love the pockets too, it adds a bit of nonchalance, don’t you think?
The blush Merino wool V neck jumper is by Winser London too, in case you were wondering, and is equally stylish and comfortable.
When I introduced you to Winser London wearing this super elegant blue dress, I already told you how a lot of their items are very generous in sleeve length. The same goes for this piece.
After a crispy stroll, a hot chocolate with apple pie was irresistible (and mandatory), but I refused to take my cardi off inside. Because it’s just that comfi.
If you’re looking for a versatile tall-girl-proof knit to keep you warm and cosy on a nippy day, add this item to your list, for winter is coming.
Or should I say… for Winser is coming? 😉
